Last Generation is one of the most versatile and entertaining musical groups to hit North Central West Virginia in years and is guaranteed to please crowds of all ages, showcasing everything from popular Country Western standards by Patsy Cline and Reba McEntire, southern rock from Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top, hot new songs from CMT stars like Shania Twain, Dwight Yoakam and Terry Clark. They also perform many oldies hits from Billboard charts of yesteryear. Lead vocalist Melanie Stefanick is a native of Arnettsville and was the local and regional champion of the 1999 True Value Country Showdown. A young and talented entertainer, Melanie has performed at many fairs and festivals around the tri state area. Veteran Chuck Lantz handles lead guitar capably. From Clarksburg, Chuck has worked with several entertainers in the business and is a credit to his profession. Last Generation's steel guitarist, Chuck Westfall, lives in Jane Lew. Chuck has performed with several artists in the area. His crying Nashville steel guitar licks accentuate the Last Generation sound. The heartbeat of any good band is the drummer. Jack Wood lives in Clarksburg. Jack lays down a rock solid foundation for the Last Generation and has performed as a professional drummer for some time. Bruce Farnsworth hails from Grafton WV. Coming from a rock n' roll background, he provides a fine bass line for the Last Generation. |
