REQUEST TO LIST YOUR WEB PAGE:
To request a listing of your web site in the wvmc.com directory, follow these directions:
1 - COPY the following text:
ACT NAME -
MUSIC STYLE -
HOME TOWN -
WEB PAGE URL - |
2 - OPEN your email program by clicking and paste the text that you copied above into the body.
- DO NOT change the "wvmc listing" in the subject line. My spam eliminator will trash anything else.
- DO NOT add this email address to your bulk mailing list. Bulk mail will be rejected and you will be de-listed.
3 - ATTACH a plain .JPG or .JPEG image not larger than 500 kilobytes in size to the email. I use a dial-up (slow) internet connection and my email reader will reject attachments over 500 kilobytes. (yeah, call me Mr. Pitiful)
- DO NOT send .RAWs, .TIFFs or .BMPs. Use graphics software to convert your image to .JPEG.
- DO NOT send proprietary formats such as Windows Media, AOL, Photoshop, Publisher or similar files.
- If you do not attach an image, I will use an image from your website. I reserve the right to be creative.
4 - SEND the email. I will not reply. Check the talent list in 24-48 hours and enjoy.
- You don't get listed if you change the subject line, your web site isn't working or you aren't from West Virginia.
- You must have a working, up-to-date web site, you must be available to play and you MUST be from West Virginia.
Notice to out-of-state promoters, agents and marketeers:
I am not interested in buying stuff, listening to CDs or reading press releases. I WILL NOT open, read or reply to (and probably won't ever even receive) your email, so don't waste your time. Any spam that does get through the filters will be reported to Spam Cop and the Federal Trade Commission. And I have NOT signed up requesting to receive information from your organization, so don't try to pull that one, either.
